I have taught art for District #7 since 2001 at various grade levels. I am returning to teaching elementary art for the 2021-2022 school year, this year I am at Goshen, Hamel, and Nelson Elementary Schools. Check back for elementary art pages to come!

I earned my B.A in Studio Art as well as Art Education and a minor in Spanish from Eastern Illinois Univeristy in 2001. I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in the Spring of 2016.
As far as my personal artwork, I create ceramic jewelry, though I also enjoy painting, printmaking, and fiber arts. Traveling is my biggest passion outside of art (of course, a lot of my travels thus far have also centered around art). I was honored to be chosen in 2012 to travel to Sweden via Rotary International's GSE program with two of my colleagues at EHS. Check out some of my favorite travel photos here.
